A friend linked me to a few amazing articles about experiments done on these beetles. Also they cut off the female beetles' legs in these experiments to stop them escaping (not mentioned in that article but described elsewhere). I liked Serizawa more when he was first introduced & seemed like a creepy maladjusted weirdo haha. His ideas about sex/relationships/power dynamics could be pretty warped from Touichirou. So what if he was secretly still super warped despite his normal outward appearance when he started working for Reigen?
